Hank Bartos attended the University of South Carolina and majored in Business Administration and Marketing. He attended Boston University and received a Masters in Education. He is married to Candy and they have two daughters, Laurie and Evie.

Hank served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He came to Alaska in 1981 when he was stationed at Eielson Air Force Base. He retired in 1986 as a Lt. Colonel and was one of the highest decorated officers in the Air Force.

Hank has been in real estate since 1987. As owner of Hank Bartos Realty, he specialized in the North Pole area. Since becoming the broker of Century 21 Gold Rush in January 1998, he has offices in both North Pole and Fairbanks and services all of Interior Alaska. He is also the Veterans Administration property manager for the Interior of Alaska. He specializes in helping Ft. Wainwright and Eielson AFB families buy and sell their homes in the Fairbanks and North Pole areas.
